Foundry Collection — Hand-Twisted Bar Spoon | 30cm Matte Nickel & Walnut
STIR WITH INTENT.
A 30cm hand-twisted bar spoon in matte nickel and faceted black walnut. Built for the quiet art of the perfect stir.
Shaking is noise. Stirring is patience. And patience is where the great drinks live.
A Manhattan isn't shaken. A Negroni isn't shaken. The drinks that reward stillness demand a tool that understands stillness. The RACWPUSE bar spoon is that tool — long enough to reach the bottom of any mixing glass, weighted enough to move with intention, twisted enough to feel alive in your hand.
Twisted by hand. Not by machine.
The spiral shaft is not rolled or stamped. It is twisted by hand — a single continuous rotation applied to solid stainless steel until the helix forms. Each turn is slightly different. Each ridge catches the light at its own angle.
The twist is functional — it gives your fingers a natural grip, it channels liquid down the shaft, it feels like something a person made. Because it was.
Three parts. One motion.
Matte nickel. Faceted walnut.
The shaft is matte nickel-plated 304 stainless — quiet, warm, and unshowy. It doesn't flash under bar lights. It doesn't demand attention. It just works, shift after shift.
The handle is North American black walnut, hand-turned to eight facets and oil-finished. Each piece has its own grain, its own character. It will darken slightly with use — a record of every drink you've stirred.
The bowl. Where the drink happens.
The spoon head is formed from a single disc, pressed and polished to a perfect round. Not too deep — you don't want to scoop. Not too flat — you want to layer. The rim is rolled smooth, so it glides along the glass wall without scratching.
Use it to stir a Manhattan. Use it to layer a B-52. Use it to place a single cherry on top. One tool, every technique.
Numbers that matter.
Stir. Layer. Serve.
Made to stir thousands of drinks.
— Hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth
— Dry thoroughly, especially the walnut handle
— Re-oil the walnut twice a year with food-safe mineral oil
— Store hanging or in a tall utensil holder
— Don't soak the wooden handle in liquid
— Don't use abrasive scrubbers on the twisted shaft
— Don't use it to crack ice (it's a spoon, not a muddler)
— Don't leave it sitting in citrus juice overnight
Measured. Verified.
"The best bartenders don't shake what should be stirred. And they never stir with a spoon that feels like an afterthought."
