RACWPUSE Bar Spoon

STIR WITH INTENT.

A 30cm hand-twisted bar spoon in matte nickel and faceted black walnut. Built for the quiet art of the perfect stir.

The Philosophy

Shaking is noise. Stirring is patience. And patience is where the great drinks live.

A Manhattan isn't shaken. A Negroni isn't shaken. The drinks that reward stillness demand a tool that understands stillness. The RACWPUSE bar spoon is that tool — long enough to reach the bottom of any mixing glass, weighted enough to move with intention, twisted enough to feel alive in your hand.

01 / Craft

Twisted by hand. Not by machine.

The spiral shaft is not rolled or stamped. It is twisted by hand — a single continuous rotation applied to solid stainless steel until the helix forms. Each turn is slightly different. Each ridge catches the light at its own angle.

The twist is functional — it gives your fingers a natural grip, it channels liquid down the shaft, it feels like something a person made. Because it was.

02 / Engineering

Three parts. One motion.

01 — The Bowl
A precision-formed round spoon head, deep enough to layer a float, flat enough to stir without splashing. Matte-brushed interior for a clean release.
02 — The Shaft
30cm of hand-twisted stainless steel. Long enough to reach the bottom of any mixing glass. The helix gives your fingers a natural seat and channels liquid back into the glass.
03 — The Handle
A hand-turned, eight-faceted black walnut cap. Weighted for balance. The facets catch light and give your thumb a natural resting point. Oil-finished, sealed against moisture.

03 / Material

Matte nickel. Faceted walnut.

The shaft is matte nickel-plated 304 stainless — quiet, warm, and unshowy. It doesn't flash under bar lights. It doesn't demand attention. It just works, shift after shift.

The handle is North American black walnut, hand-turned to eight facets and oil-finished. Each piece has its own grain, its own character. It will darken slightly with use — a record of every drink you've stirred.

04 / Detail

The bowl. Where the drink happens.

The spoon head is formed from a single disc, pressed and polished to a perfect round. Not too deep — you don't want to scoop. Not too flat — you want to layer. The rim is rolled smooth, so it glides along the glass wall without scratching.

Use it to stir a Manhattan. Use it to layer a B-52. Use it to place a single cherry on top. One tool, every technique.

Performance

Numbers that matter.

30cm
Total Length
Reaches the bottom of any standard mixing glass. Your knuckles stay dry.
8
Faceted Handle
Eight hand-cut facets on the walnut cap. Natural thumb rest. No two identical.
60g
Weight
Balanced at the shaft's midpoint. Stir for hours without fatigue.
1
Continuous Twist
A single hand-applied helix from bowl to handle. No welds, no joints, no weak points.
05 / Ritual

Stir. Layer. Serve.

Stirring from above
Stir
Press the back of the bowl against the glass wall. Rotate smoothly — the spiral shaft guides the motion. Twenty to thirty seconds, until the glass frosts.
Spoon in whiskey glass
Layer
Pour slowly over the back of the bowl. The curved surface breaks the fall, letting denser spirits settle beneath lighter ones. Clean layers, zero mixing.
Droplet on spiral shaft
Finish
Lift the spoon. Let the last drop fall back into the glass. The spiral channels it cleanly — no drips on the rim, no mess on the bar.
Care Guide

Made to stir thousands of drinks.

Do
— Rinse immediately after use with warm water
— Hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth
— Dry thoroughly, especially the walnut handle
— Re-oil the walnut twice a year with food-safe mineral oil
— Store hanging or in a tall utensil holder
Don't
— Don't put it in the dishwasher (heat cracks walnut)
— Don't soak the wooden handle in liquid
— Don't use abrasive scrubbers on the twisted shaft
— Don't use it to crack ice (it's a spoon, not a muddler)
— Don't leave it sitting in citrus juice overnight

"The best bartenders don't shake what should be stirred. And they never stir with a spoon that feels like an afterthought."
