RACWPUSE Rocks Glass

THE LOW GLASS. THE LONG POUR.

A hand-cut crystal rocks glass. Diamond facets, weighted base, star-cut foot. Built for whiskey, neat or on the rocks.

The Philosophy

Whiskey doesn't need a tall glass. It needs a glass that feels like it belongs in your hand.

The rocks glass is the most honest vessel in barware. No stem. No ceremony. Just a thick base, a heavy wall, and enough room for one large cube and two fingers of bourbon. The RACWPUSE rocks glass takes that honest form and cuts it from crystal — turning every sip into something worth slowing down for.

01 / Craft

Diamond facets. Cut by hand.

Each diamond facet on the body is cut by hand with a rotating diamond wheel. Over 50 individual cuts per glass, each one checked for depth and angle. The facets catch the amber of whiskey and turn it into something alive — light moving across the surface as you turn the glass.

Tiny air bubbles trapped in the crystal are not defects. They are signatures — proof that each piece was mouth-blown by a person, not extruded by a machine.

02 / Engineering

Thick. Heavy. Balanced.

01 — The Body
A straight-sided tumbler with 6mm thick walls. Heavy enough to insulate, wide enough for a single large ice cube. Hand-cut diamond facets cover the lower two-thirds. 300ml capacity.
02 — The Rim
A thick, rounded rim — fire-polished to a smooth edge. No sharp corners. No thin lips. It feels substantial against your mouth, and it doesn't chip when you set it down hard.
03 — The Base
A weighted 15mm thick base with a 24-point star cut radiating from the center. Heavy enough to prevent tipping, polished enough to reflect light upward through the whiskey. The glass sits flat, every time.

03 / Material

Crystal. Not glass.

We use lead-free crystal with a high refractive index — the same material used in fine stemware houses. It's clearer, heavier, and more brilliant than ordinary soda-lime glass. Light passes through it, bends, and comes back as color.

Each piece is mouth-blown, then hand-cut over two days. The cutting takes three hours. The polishing takes another one. It is slow work. It is supposed to be.

04 / Detail

The weight. That's the point.

A rocks glass should feel heavy in your hand. The 15mm base gives it substance — it doesn't slide on the bar, it doesn't tip when you reach for it, and it stays cold longer than a thin-walled glass.

The star-cut base isn't just decorative. It disperses the weight evenly and creates a ring of light beneath the whiskey — turning a simple pour into something you notice.

Performance

Numbers that matter.

50+
Hand-Cut Facets
Diamond cuts on the body, star cuts on the base. All by hand. All checked.
300ml
Capacity
Two fingers of whiskey plus one large cube. The classic rocks pour.
15mm
Base Thickness
Weighted base for stability and cold retention. No tipping. No sliding.
4h
Handwork Per Glass
Mouth-blown, hand-cut, hand-polished. Two days from start to finish. No two identical.
05 / Ritual

Ice. Pour. Sip.

Hand holding rocks glass
Ice
One large cube. Not crushed. Not small. A single block that melts slowly and dilutes evenly. The thick base keeps it cold from the first sip to the last.
Orange peel expression
Pour
Two ounces of bourbon or rye. Express an orange twist over the surface — the oils catch the light as they fall. The diamond facets turn the amber into something you want to look at before you drink.

Sip
Hold the glass by the base — palm beneath, fingers curled around the bottom. The thick wall keeps your hand heat away from the drink. Sip slowly. Let the whiskey do the talking.
Care Guide

Made to last a lifetime of pours.

Do
— Hand wash with warm water and mild soap
— Dry immediately with a lint-free microfiber cloth
— Hold by the base when washing to avoid fingerprints
— Store upright in a cabinet with soft padding
— Use a single large ice cube — it melts slower and looks better
Don't
— Don't put it in the dishwasher (detergents cloud crystal)
— Don't use abrasive scrubbers on the cut surfaces
— Don't pour boiling liquid into a cold glass (thermal shock)
— Don't stack glasses inside each other
— Don't use it for shots — that's what a shot glass is for

"There are two types of people in this world. Those who drink whiskey from a rocks glass, and those who haven't found the right one yet."
